LIES WE SOLD is a Paris-based Metalcore band formed in 2018. The current lineup of the band consists of Anthony Lossmann on vocals, Florian Bernard-Floirac on drums, Vincent Paludetto on bass, and Alexandre Jacob and Quentin Locatelli on guitar. They released their debut EP "Words" in December 2019, which was recorded with Pierre Danel of Kadinja at Axone Studio. They blend elements of metalcore and progressive metal with HeavyMetal-infused melodies. On April 2, 2021, a brand new 4-song EP titled "Upside Down," mixed and mastered by Nicolas Exposito of Landmarks, was distributed on digital platforms by Blood Blast Distribution. 2023 marks the beginning of a new era for the band with the arrival of Maxime on bass and the release of a new EP in the spring. The first single "Ethereal Dreams" was released in February 2023, still on Blood Blast Distribution and still mixed and mastered by Nicolas Exposito. "Lies we sold" is excited to announce the release of their new single "Lost and Found" on April 21, 2023. The song is an energetic and fast track that showcases the band's signature blend of metalcore and progressive metal. A single "Cracked Open" was released in June 2023, it will be the last before the upcoming EP this fall.
